The student council comprising of the principal and student representative meet regularly to discuss and improve the welfare measures of the students. The Head Boy, Head Girl, House captains, Prefects, class monitors make the student council.
The students are put into four “Houses” like 1) Kalpana Chawla’s House 2) Kiran Bedi’s house 3) Arundhathi Roy’s House 4) Mother Theresa’s House. Several activities and duties are then given to each house in turn. Each house has a teacher – Coordinator and assistant teachers who guide the students of the respective in planning, organizing and show casting various in – house programmes, extra – curricular activities and competitions so that the students train themselves to interact and communicate with ease.
To encourage leadership qualities, some students handle the morning assembly, display board, celebration of festival etc., quite admirably.
