Std, I to V:

Students are encouraged to be regular in their studies and accordingly weekly assessments are held regularly. Promotion to the next class is on the basis of general performance in the class as well as on the basic of these assessments.

Std, VI onwards:

There are four formative Assessment, two summative Assessment SA1 and SA2 annual examination promotion is on the basis of these examination, projects and performance in the class. The following are the specific norms :

  • A minimum of 33% in aggregate
  • A minimum of 33% in all the subjects.
  • Failing in any of the core subjects is sufficient reason for not granting promotion.
  • Consistent neglect of a subject will not be condoned. A child who is weak in a particular subject should make up for well before the Annual Examination.
  • Promotions are decided at the staff council and its decision is final. Revision Tests will be as per the schedule given in the School Diary. Marks scored in tests will be given weight age for promotion to the next class. Absenteeism from Revision Tests will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against such students.
